before i set foot in one of my favorite haunts in a month plus time, i was elated to discover this article in the papers this morning. 

- KFC launches their yummy egg tarts in singapore!

i've wished/hoped/waited a long time for this. 

isn't is divine that i now only read the papers on weekends? 

God is so good to me (: 

within the hour, my mum brought some of these yummy things home for me! 

what a wonderful start to the weekend!

my friend stops by a shop to buy preserved fruit and i got bored waiting. 

i was busy fidgeting about until their names caught my eye. 

some really interesting names, i must say.

the b'day aftermath.

had a fun-filled day on my birthday, doing 3 of my most favorite things. 

sleeping, eating and spending time with my family :) 

there was another reason why i counted down to today, though. 

in anticipation, bated breath, albeit with sweaty palms, i headed to look for JASON. 

yeah, no one else but JASON. 

because he had the power to determine if i could/couldn't choose. 

the color.

of my spankin' new black bird fly. 

yeah. i still cannot believe it, till i hold it in my hands to concede that it isn't but a dream. 

a very good friend blessed me with it and i am still reeling from shock/surprise. 

alas, they didn't have the color i want but Jason was kind enough to order in one for me. 

thank you for favor, Jesus! :) 

my film is waiting for my new camera to arrive but meanwhile i will experiment with a two-frame camera jojo got me for Christmas. 

i don't usually open stuff before Christmas - i am traditional that way, still waiting for the actual day to open up all my gifts just cause i like it. 

but this one i had to, because she insisted. 

couldn't blame her cause she got it months back from korea, just for me. sweet :)

DIM SUM GIRLIES -

and so we finished our tarts in orchard & decided to head elsewhere. 

happy early dim sum with the girls and we prayed for the fats to go to my good friend KL because he is super nice and won't mind :) and can definitely use some of it. well, he already knows about this because i've already told him. he just laughed it off. 

i seldom do things like that & usually keep it short & sharp. honestly :) 

love the otah & scallop siew mai. the char siew rolls too.

LAZY SATURDAY -

almost had to spend the entire day on the bed because of cramps.

Praise the Lord, i didn't have to.

.BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS.

sashimi, oysters, tiramisu, creme brule.

so we walked THE LINE tonight to celebrate my mum's birthday. 

and on the way back, we saw the CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. 

this one's my fave. Behold the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. 

JESUS, THE REASON FOR THIS SEASON. 

and so i asked my brother, 5 things he would tell someone about me if they asked and here's what he said. in a heartbeat. (another reason why i love kids! the true embodiment of honesty) :)

1. you often wear leggings

2. you love to shop. you're favorite brands are cotton on & topshop. you sometimes like espirit. me: "i like far east & vivo,ion..." rattling on. him: "i said BRANDS." me: "errr. okay, next."

3. you drive recklessly. (after some laughter&objection, he relented and said, "okayyyy. abit reckless only."

4. you eat almost anything. like daddy.

5. you love to go to work. (AWWWWWW!)

everything he said, is everything i am.

& love & believe in & live for.

went to auntie kim's last dad at dad's recommendation. yum - i love korean food.

not because of korean drama serials, really. cause the biggest fan is really my daddy. and i watch them because i get to spend time with him. it's fun! :)

and makes me wanna go korea, too.

BAG BABY

i gently slid into my seat, constantly stealing glances behind to be sure that i kept my distance away from her little one. bumping into an adult by is ok but into an infant - i wasn't gonna take ANY chances. 

until i realized that i "had an infant" myself. 

the brilliant cot-like thingy was actually a bag you could place your bag in. yes, instead of placing it on the floor, hugging it throughout your entire meal or straddling it (albeit uncomfortably) somewhere else. 

thank you din tai fung, because of you - the dumplings just tasted better. 

sometimes the difference is when you know people care :)
